Your income isn't the same every month. Your money app should get that.

Tomi connects to your bank and keeps track of what came in, what's about to go out, and how much room is left in between. Built for freelancers, gig workers, tipped shifts, commission checks, and anyone juggling more than one job.

Budgeting math assumes a paycheck. Yours doesn't come like that.

Most money apps split a salary into monthly envelopes. That math breaks when a good week follows a slow one, tips swing, or an invoice pays late. The month starts fine, rent clears, then a quiet stretch, and you're back to checking your balance before every purchase.

Tomi watches the money that moves instead. Every account in one view, recurring bills spotted automatically, income tracked as it arrives. The picture stays current even when the schedule isn't.

Everything in one place

Checking, savings, and credit cards connected in about two minutes. Transactions arrive on their own and sort into categories you can override.

Know where it goes

Spending by category and merchant, this month next to last month, and your daily pace compared to 30 days ago.

See bills coming

Tomi spots recurring charges from your history and lines them up with your paydays, so a tight week shows up early instead of as an overdraft.

Next on the roadmap: one number for what's safe to spend before your next deposit. Waitlist members get it first.

How it works

1

Connect a bank

Through Plaid, the same connection layer behind Venmo and Chime. Read-only, and your bank login never touches Tomi.

2

Tomi sorts it

Transactions categorize themselves. Recurring bills and income streams surface within a day or two.

3

Check one screen

What came in, what went out, what’s due next. Thirty seconds, not an evening with a spreadsheet.

About your data

Read-only.

Tomi can see transactions and balances. It cannot move money, pay bills, or touch your account. The connection type makes that impossible; it is not a policy promise.

We don't sell your data.

The business model is a subscription after beta. Your transactions are not the product, and there are no ads.

  • Your bank password stays at your bank.

You sign in on your bank’s own page through Plaid. Tomi never sees or stores your credentials.

  • Two-factor authentication, required.

Every Tomi account has it before a single bank can be linked.

  • Encrypted and audited.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, bank tokens live in a dedicated vault, and sensitive operations leave an audit trail.

  • Leaving is one click.

Export everything or delete your account from settings. Deleting removes the bank connection, the data, and the account itself.

Common questions

Can Tomi move my money?

No. The bank connection is read-only. There is no transfer, payment, or withdrawal capability anywhere in the product.

What does it cost?

Nothing during beta. After that, a straightforward subscription, priced so we never need ads or data sales.

Which banks work?

Around 12,000 US banks and credit unions through Plaid, including the big names and most local ones.

What if I want to leave?

Settings, then delete account. Bank connections are severed at Plaid, your data is removed, and the account is gone. You can export everything first.

When do I get access?

Invites go out in small batches, oldest signups first.

Stop guessing between paydays.

Join the list and you'll get an invite when the next batch opens.
